To Make The Alcohol

1. Add the ceramic boil enhancers to the still first. Place 4 litres of the above clear liquid into the Easy Still  (you will see a slight indent on the inside of the machine at the 4 litre mark to make this easier.)
Add one capful of the Distillers Conditioner to the still  Mark plastic container at 700mls

2. Replace the lid and switch the machine on by plugging in to the mains.

4. Place a collecting pot under the outlet nozzle.Make sure as the liquid starts to drip it must go into the container. If its not in the correct position this could cause a leaking onto the worktop.

5. For the first hour the machine will heat up and then in the second hour you will collect the alcohol. At the end of the second hour the machine should be switched off. You should have approx 800mls of alcohol at 60% ABV.

6. This should then be diluted to 40% ABV which is the level at which you can make spirits. To dilute this we suggest you add water which will be 50% of the total volume. If you have collected 800mls then add another 300mls of water. This can be tap water but we suggest you taste this first before using it to make sure there are not any off flavours (chlorine etc). If your water is not good quality use the machine to produce some distilled water and then use this.

7. Allow the still to cool before removing the top cover.Empty out the remaining wash and clean the inside with clean warm water (or distiller cleaner).Dry the still thoroughly and put away ready for it's next use (unless you are doing more than 1 batch).

We recommend that the collected alcohol should be passed through a still spirits air still carbon filter,to improve the purity before you add your selected flavourings.

Filtering The Wash

1. Fit the carbon cartridge to the filter making sure the foam washers are fitted between the filter and both ends of the cartridge.

2. Dilute the spirit to 40% with clean water  (using a spirit hydrometer is ideal for this part). This is necessary for the filter to operate correctly.

3. Place the filter on top of collector pot.

4. Fill the filter with the spirit and allow to drip into collector pot.

5. You can now  simply add your favourite flavourings to the alcohol to produce a delicious alcoholic drink! The drinks you have made will keep for 2 years except for the Cream Liqueurs which we would suggest are used in 3 months and once opened kept in a fridge
.

5. When the fermentation is finished, it is important to de-gas the wash. stir briskly until all fizzing stops this will take a few minutes. add the Turbo Clear. Leave for 24 hours to clear.

6. Siphon the clear liquid (should be 14% ABV) off the sediment into a clean container. If you don't want to make the alcohol immediately this can be stored in clean containers for up to 2 weeks. Please note, full instructions are included on the packet of Triple Distilled and Turbo Clear.
