Kwik Clear Finings Small
An effective two part fining system.Add 1-2 ml of Kieselsol (Bottle A) per gallon, stir well and leave for 30 minutes. Then add  1-2 ml of Gelatine (Bottle B) and stir well. Leave to clear and then rack off the sediment, usually this will be within 72 hours.This is a very powerful fining kit, and these are the same products generally used in wine kits.

This pack will clear up to 135 litres of wine or beer.
Harris Beerbrite Sachet

This sachet of finings comes in a dried form sufficient to
fine 40 pints. It needs to be thoroughly mixed into half a
cupful of water for 1 minute and stood for 15 minutes
before adding to the beer. Its active ingredients are Silica
Hydrogel and Natural Collagen.
Irish Moss 30grm

Young's Irish Moss improves precipitation of proteins
during the wort boil. For 25 litres, add 1 Teaspoon to the
boiling wort for the last 15 minutes
Protafloc Copper Finings 35grm

Protafloc Copper Finings is used in breweries it enables the brewer to achieve brighter worts by assisting the coagulation of unstable proteins in the copper and rapid settling of the coagulum as hot and cold breaks. It is important to produce consistently bright wort in order to reduce the level of protein and polyphenols. If high levels of these substances are present they will lead to draught beers that are difficult to fine or bottled beers with a greatly reduced shelf life. Whilst protein can to some extent be removed with auxiliary finings, it can present other problems which can be improved considerably by its removal in the copper.

Description

Protafloc granules are obtained by the alkali extraction of the red seaweed Eucheuma Cottonii. The active compound is the polysaccharide Carageenan that carries a negative charge that interacts with proteins to form large flocs.

Method of Use

Protafloc should be added to the copper 15 - 20 minutes before the end of the boil.

2 – 5 grams per 23 litre brew

Supplied in a sealable pot
